Schools: Sneads Elementary, Victory Christian Academy, and Marianna K-8

Throughout the school week, a team of local professional foresters and landowners visits a designated fourth-grade classroom each day until all the students have been reached. They aim to provide new insights into the students' understanding of forests, the importance of trees in their daily lives, and the five thousand products derived from trees.

Jackson Soil & Water Conservation District helps with facilitating Forestry in the Classroom for Jackson County schools, local foresters, and landowners.
